In a fight the Avengers don’t stand a chance. I take that back…they have a small chance if someone like Doctor Strange or Scarlett Witch is with them. But outside of a select few the Justice League is head to toe so much more powerful. I agree with that but neither the JLA or the Avengers comprise the totality of super-beings in their respective universes. The MCU has ridulously underpowered heroes and quasi-omnipotent villains who are somehow defeated. The members of the Fantastic Four have completely shit powers and that also applies to the X-Men and Avengers (less maybe Doctor Strange or Scarlett Witch). But the MCU villains are infinitely more powerful than the Marvel super-heroes (and also DCU heroes in my estimation), yet are somehow held at bay. Consider, there's the Elders of the Universe, Galactus, Eternals, Celestials, Time Twisters, Sise Neg, to name a few. Then there are the really powerful MCU villains* like Eternity, Death, Living Tribunal and the Beyonder. Somehow, the Marvel writers always fgure a way to have the good guys prevail. So in a JLA/Avengers conflict the outcome is uncertain. Let's not forget Dark Phoenix who destroyed an entire Marvel parallel universe. * Yes, the term villains is inappropriate for such entities but that's the best I can do. galactus monitor Drs.
