Doesn't look to me like you're debating Star Wars at all. It's personal. You did say the people who tend to like it are Rian Johnson fans or casual fans. It has nothing to do with the movie.

That's my take/guess. Other people say they don't like TLJ, but they're not guessing at ulterior motivations for sticking by it.
