While I "fell off" of my routine during lock-down, I'm starting to get back to walking for about 40 minutes, or so. For me, that's a little more than 2 miles. I'm retired, so I have the time in the morning.
I've heard that drinking a large glass of water in the morning is good for you system. It's said that it "wakes up your organs." Whether that's gospel, or "hooey," I'm not sure. But, a glass of water, certainly, wouldn't hurt you. I'm pretty consistent at it.
