Do you think there is any room in film today for new slasher icons to exist? I think the last time a new slasher was created to wide(r) success was Ghost Face is scream. That was 20 years ago. There have been other slasher films made since then but they’ve either used existing characters or new ones that just didn’t catch on. Do you think there is any room today for a new slasher character, like a Jason or Michael Myers, to be created and find success?
