Almost one week ago, since Oslo City is as of right now, the only place featuring a Platekompaniet (music and movie) store left, not only in Oslo, but most likely Norway. Beside that, I rarely visit any other shops in that mall, which feels and looks like it still belongs in the late 80s or early 90s, which is kind of nice, for those seeking nostalgia. I kind of miss hanging out at the malls, like we did back in the 90s, just window shopping and eating junk-food and ice cream, and dreaming of all the cool stuff you could get your hands on, if you were lucky enough, to afford it.
Sadly, the name Olav Thon and shopping centers, would spread out during the 90s and beyond, making almost every mall have or include exactly (more or less) the same stores, the same names and yeah, even over in Sweden it is more like shopping in Norway, than it is away from home.
