Like lets say a special tv was invented. and all you need to do what to write in place, year and date and if you knew event. Like if you wanted to see the great exhibition at Crystal Palace in 1851. All you would need to do to see that would be to write 1 of may 1851 Crystal Palace, London. The great exhibition and just push play on the remote and you would actually see the opening of the great exhibition at Crystal Palace in 1851.
Or you could pick a random person famous or non famous and follow them for a day or more.
That would be the best say to do time travel, you could just sit at home in 2021 and just watch the past like you where watching a movie or tv show. Which means that you could watch anything you wanted from the past.
You could warp 9 to 170 light years away and watch it with some really good binoculars. I doubt you'd be able to hear anything, though.
