I'll bite. Why? Isn't that the date JFK was killed?
On that note, it'd be interesting to go back to Elm Street that day and see definitively where the shots came from. Or teleport outside the Pentagon on 9/11. Maybe 1888 London to see who Jack the Ripper was, or go whereever DB Cooper landed in 1971.
