In L'appât (1995), dir: Bertrand Tavernier, appear clips of:
--- Scarface (1983) dir: Brian De Palma
--- Tandem (1987) dir: Patrice Leconte
The Scarface clip reflects on one of the themes of the movie, the corruption of French culture and morals by Americanization. I am not familiar with the Leconte film but I doubt its inclusion is without a reason. Can anyone explain it?
