Though I’ve not seen it, Sybil (1976) is a highly regarded TV movie that brought considerable respect for Sally Field.
You owe it to yourself to see it, bravo. It's remarkable and Field's performance is unbelievable! Can't recommend it highly enough. Definitely one of the best films about mental illness I have seen.
