One of those movie I watch too infrequently and say "Damn, I forgot how good that movie is". Yes. Sometimes you think a movie you haven't watch a long time thinking it doesn't hold up anymore, and then you watch it again and realize why you like it in the first place.
This happened to me back in February when I just want to watch a movie I have seen, so just I randomly picked this one on Netflix since I haven't seen it in ages. Just brilliant! I love the dialogue, the story, just about everything about it.
I don't know why I don't watch Von Ryan's Express as much as I do. It's really a damned good movie. a war movie that has comic moments (the burning of the uniforms), some harsh moments (the Germans shooting the wounded) and becomes a great action film. Not the biggest fan of Frank Sinatra but he was great in VRE. And Trevor Howard shines, but he shines in everything.
Clockwork Orange, I have seen that one a lot. And don't regret a single one. Viddie well, I did
