If you have an empty drive bay, you can put your new drive there.
Assuming you want the new drive to be C and the old one to be D, you need to change drive mapping by following the instructions here: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/disk-management/change-a-drive-letter
Finding disk management is easiest if you open the settings interface and search for disk management.
Note that changing your drive mapping will probably mess with your shortcuts and may cause other problems with your programs.
