One seldom got to see him smile, but such was the characters he played, so it's nice to see him like this...
I mostly remember him from The Paper Chase 1973 and the subsequent TV-series 1978 - 1986, but can't remember that the series went on for 8 years.
He was also one of the four old men who had a secret in Ghost Story 1981.
Rollerball and Three Days of the Condor both 1975 are movies I've seen much later.
On TV I also remember he was in the mini-series The Winds of Was 1983.
