Someone like John Ridgely that could play a great bad guy or a great good guy and had "almost" leading man looks. I always thought he was great as Eddie Mars in The Big Sleep and as Capt. Quincannon (what a great name for a character in a WW2 film) in Air Force among a ton of other films.
