THE VIEW

I've watched it more or less since the beginning and at this point it's more a guilty pleasure than anything else; not that it was ever highbrow entertainment, but they had some of their better hosts in the beginning than anything else, especially with Meredith Viera. I enjoy Whoopi and certainly didn't expect her to be as outspoken as she is, but she's always had a spark that she's never let out until she started the show. As another poster stated, she's always come across as super calm in interviews, so it does almost come out of left field.
