In the old days that's what Monday nights were for; then they added Sunday night, but Thursday night? Overkill imo. Not really. Monday nights back in the day were very much marquee games. You wouldn't get a Jags-Bengals game back then. Crappy teams didn't get many opportunities for prime time. I like having the Sunday and Monday night games. I don't like the Thursday night games. Not because it's overkill but rather the product sucks as they schedule crap teams and like I said before, it's too short a recovery to play Sunday and then go play on Thursday. That being said, I usually watch them anyway but I totally see your point on how it's overkill. I guess my point is crappy teams shouldnt get prime time games and Thursday nights enables this. |
