it's not just political though, i made several posts before the announcement to boycott the Ghost In The Shell remake for concern about keeping the original left alone, while also saying that people could watch it if they want, just not to see it on opening night, & someone suggested to buy a ticket for another movie instead... & then the whole thing was deleted almost instantly.
