Seems to me a fudge to get around the Saudi State owning it as they are a no no to the EPL for pirating reasons. Will just be like owning it through shell companies and calling it a "consortium" instead. Will also piss off the big 6 ish clubs who have been allegedly pushing to block the bid as they didn't want another big player at the select table.
I always hope for them to fail as their fans are some of the most deluded and self entitled in the game.
