Doesn't seem like he did much of anything, which is part of their problem. The guy who ran Channel Awesome is by all accounts a dick boss, and they're mad at Doug for not using his power as the site's star to rein him in. They also hold a grudge over that time Doug "retired" Nostalgia Critic. The other creators didn't get much notice, and the site took a dive without that character.
As for Lindsay, now that she's a mature video essayist, she also openly looks down on Doug and that whole style of reviewing, calling it "toxic", "smug", "lazy", and outright "bad content".
Jewwario was apparently a sexual predator. CA fired him when they found out. Seems pretty reasonable, but a lot of the Change the Channel drama was former content creators weaponizing anything they could against the site.
