Update - Yesterday, I bought a new laptop. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon. They upgraded me to Windows 11 right in the shop itself. I found it easy to use but I can't tell you how much better it is than Windows 10 because I only use Windows for work and use only Linux for entertainment/personal use. But I had no difficulty in using Windows 11. Within minutes I was able to shrink my default drive and create space for installing Linux. Within 15 minutes I was able to install and run Linux side by side Windows (dual boot).
Just like to mention 1 thing. The laptop I bought has a QHD resolution and trust me QHD (2560x1600) feels much better than FHD. You feel the reading experience is much better at this resolution. If any one of you are going to buy a laptop, I will suggest getting either a QHD or UHD laptop.
Thanks for the information. Let's see how Win11 will pan out. If not good, I may skip it like I skipped Vista and Win8 since I don't need to change computer in the foreseeable future. Please keep posted if anything new.
I may still hope to get familiar with Linux someday when I have the time.
