Now people are being tested and punished because of their obsession to save others. Yeah, okay. We get a backstory to Jigsaw, showing he wasn’t always a sanctimonious killer trying to impart lessons on the value of life. The plot twist at the end revealing who is behind all this rib tickling brutality shows the series running low on ideas. Isn't it a plot point in the original Saw that he only starts killing people after he gets cancer?
