"Written by children, for children" - this is almost convincing and half right. It should say written to profit from keeping audiences infantile. When the old style showed examples to follow, the new one offers allowances to buy, or rather to vote for. It is in line with excusing egalitarian politics that make a business of appearing to care for the immature.
The demanding fatherly style of old, preparing the new generation for life, is replaced with the complacent motherly alternative, excusing failure to stay relevant.
