Space travel is not "a kind of a thing" right now. They are doing what was done in the 1960's- going up just past the atmosphere and coming back. If this is "space travel" then splashing on the beach is "swimming in the ocean". Actual travel would be going somewhere.

BTW- I have a very nice TV- but I don't get my science education from Star Trek screenwriters (as many do). Might be interesting to open a science book once and a while- try it!
