5/10. I liked Costner and Manville's performances. Diane Lane's character really turned me off with her self-righteous streak even if the daughter-in-law was an utter dolt. Nice shootout at the end though. Interesting. She was my favorite character (though I understand where you are coming from) and I think her performance is one of the best of her career. Deserved in Oscar nomination imo.
