Alec Baldwin is a worthless sack of shit and I hope the family of Haylana Hutchins sue the fuck out of Baldwin and the studio for acting reckless and having a lack of safety for the film crew. He was the executive producer of that film after all and the one in charge. He failed the most basic level of gun safety/handling by pointing it at a person without making sure it was loaded. He is guilty as hell for that alone.
What is also so painfully ironic is that Alec Baldwin has been a long time outspoken critic of US citizens having the right to own firearms and here he finds himself being investigated for accidentally killing a person with a gun. It'd be so funny to me if it wasn't so tragic.
Baldwin in 2018 joined a coalition of other celebrities and activists in forming the "No Rifle Association Initiative," which aimed to reduce the NRA's sphere of influence on American politics and society, according to a report in The Guardian at the time.
The group hoped to curb the NRA's influence by encouraging voter registration, demonstrations, and boycotts, the report said.
Baldwin also tweeted at former NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch back in 2018 after the gun rights group released a trailer for Loesch's show.
"The Second Amendment is not a moral credit card that buys you all the guns you want," he wrote. "That law needs to be rethought."

Without getting too political in this thread, Baldwin's clueless ass needs to know that the VAST majority of gun owners in the US are responsible gun owners. People have a right to protect themselves and not be shamed or guilt tripped by a lot of these smug out of touch hypocritical Hollywood elitists (who all live in high end gated neighborhoods with 24/7 armed security I might add)
I actually don't own a gun either (and never have owned a gun in my lifetime). Just haven't felt the need to get one ever because I live in a nice middle class area. I've gone to a gun range a number of times though to just fire some rounds. I've only done that a number of times so I'm not some right wing gun nutjob or anything like that haha. Some of my friends are gun owners though but they are 100% responsible gun owners and have all taken gun safety classes and keep their guns in gun safes so they are out of reach from their children.
Alec Baldwin clearly was not acting as a responsible gun owner and left a woman dead and I hope he pays for that.
As an actual gun owner, I'm not nearly as triggered by Baldwin's opinions or amused by his killing of this woman as you are, but hey, thanks for having my back.
