WW84 was just so painfully awful and one of the worst super hero sequels I've ever seen. A big disappoint for me (especially considering I was pleasantly surprised with the 1st one and thought it felt genuine and featured great chemistry from Gadot & Pine and also had a good mixture of action and comedic timing thru out it. The sequel had none of that.
Also I'm just glad Denis Villeneuve is no longer attached to this project and is focusing on DUNE Part Two. I also remember for quite awhile Fincher was attached to potentially direct the Cleopatra remake with Angelina Jolie. I'm glad both of those heavy hitter directors have moved on to more interesting projects
