The Thing from Another World (1951)

I like that they introduce the characters and we know who each one throughout the film rather than having some monster just coming around and killing off anonymous people who all look alike !

I also like the couple of shots where Marshall Dillon is recognizable and knowing that the thing got a better paying long term job.
