Agree Celebrity Skin was released September 2 1998. Or that's what Alexa tells me. It wasn't finished recording until February 1998. Really? OK maybe 1997 was kind of a weak year. Going to an earlier point, this was when alternative was kinda dying off and rock was looking for the "next thing" (and unfortunately that next thing turned out to be nu-metal, Blink 182 inspired pop punk, and post grunge)
