What I love about this series (and of course it's another example of an athlete producing a series about himself, so it isn't as if it's unbiased) is that it gives people who haven't followed him closely throughout his career a chance to see how classy he is day in and day out. All he ever does is deflect credit to those around him and place blame on himself. And I have to disagree with Welker on one thing. He isn't remembered for the drop. He's remembered for being a prolific receiver, hard worker and fantastic football player. Still revered here in New England, I saw more than one Welker jersey at Gillette a few weeks ago. You weren't on the IMDb sports board then, but SB46 was essentially the birthplace of DC-Fan (AH Fan back then, of course); he might have been around before but it wasn't until that game that he really made himself known. It was pandemonium for weeks, even months on that board in the aftermath with gargantuan threads involving DC going back and forth with Schlacko and others about Shady Brady. I'm talking the copy-and-paste jobs, red bolded font, blaming Brady for Welker's drop, calling Giselle ugly, the works. Imagine telling him back then that Brady would go on to reach 5 more Super Bowls, winning 4 of them as of end-2021? I don't even have to go back that far for comedy. I remember jimanchower telling me Brady was going to go off a cliff any second in 2015. DC Fan at least hung around until they banned him, jim never had the balls to come back to the board after Super Bowl 51.
