What a mess. Can any team have more catastrophes? Losing both Chris Drury and Dan Briere in 2007, drafting Sam Reinhart and passing on Leon Draisaitl in 2014, missing out on Conner McDavid, fucking up Jack Eichel. Drafting Owen Power #1 who did everything but say out loud he doesn't want to play here. I have a $500 bet that says he will never skate one shift for the Sabres. Sad, I haven't been to a game in at least five years and have no interest now.
There's no Tom Seaver on this team. Or even an Ed Charles. Not sure I'd put the '16 Cubs in that category. They didn't come out of nowhere. The 1983 NC State or the 1980 US Olympic hockey team.
