Movie: Dune (or maybe The Suicide Squad or The Green Knight... or Demon Slayer... idk). Hard to really choose since each movie has noticeable issues. Dune has an incredibly anticlimactic ending, Suicide Squad's issue is the fact that Harley Quinn doesn't really seem to be necessary at all, The Green Knight is pretty slow paced, and Demon Slayer has a random villain show up at the end to do villain shit. But they're all filled with so much stuff that is, objectively speaking, great. They all get a 3.5/4. I think I'll just go with a four way tie.
TV Series: Have pretty much spent the entire last year just watching anime. The only non-anime series I've watched was Invincible. It more or less offered the same kind type of deconstruction of superheroes that The Boys does with some gory violence. I dig the depiction of the main character's relationship with his father, Omniman. Was surprisingly well written. But I'm going to go with an anime. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
Song: Happier Than Ever, I guess. Didn't really care much for Billie Eilish before. Heard a song of hers from her first album and I dug it, but, when I went to check out her other stuff, I found that it all more or less sounded the exact same. Happier Than Ever starts off pretty much the same but turns into an absolute banger halfway through. Haven't really listened to too much music released this year yet.
Album: I'm going to cheat a little since this is literally the only album I've listened to that was released this year: "Call Me if You Get Lost" by Tyler, The Creator.
Book: I don't read books...
Athlete: Don't have a favorite.
Videogame: Metroid Dread, I guess. Really the only new videogames I've played are that one and Halo: Infinite. Spent most of the year either playing older games that I kept putting off or just playing Call of Duty and Battlefield 5.
