as good as we are, Bayern is not considered a top destination for the world's top 40-50 players in their prime. the money that can be earned in the Premiership is far too lucrative, and Real and Barca are of course also ahead of Bayern as attractive desinations. this is again becoming apparent as per the Sanchez situation.
off the top of my head, the only really great player that came to Bayern in the recent past is Lewandowski - and arguably Vidal.
the plan Bayern follow is to buy skilled players young, before the likes of Barca, Real, ManCity, Chelsea or even ManU and Liverpool are interested. and before they have proven themselves and are still without a hefty price tag.
well, that's at least my perspective on the matter.
in any case, i still assume that Renato Sanches (and maybe also Tolisso) will be loaned out this coming season (although Ancelotti had said otherwise towards the end of this season).
