I kind of figured that Blade was not the only reason you decided you were no longer a Christian.

I must confess I cannot agree that all religious people believe because they want to and ignore the facts, I would like to think I choose to believe in light of the facts and that I have a coherent belief system that does not rely on cognitive dissonance.  Having said that, I must confess that I agree, there is a large population out there they believe because they think that belief will magically fix their lives, funnily it might have a chance to if they worked at their belief as opposed to just mouthed it.
