That... that's just amazingly obtuse. If you're honestly wondering why a homosexual citizen would wonder about a government representative's opinion on a homosexual lifestyle and how that would affect their vote on issues which directly affect it, then you must have no idea how votes work, or bias affects votes, etc. The question "how does thinking gay sex is a sin affect your ability as a politician" is simply nonsensical - citizens don't worry about strong convictions affecting the *ability* be a politicians, they worry about how the convictions will drive that politician's decisions. It's literally the crux of a political platform.
I hope to hell you're being facetious in some way I'm missing due to not reading all 1,348 posts.
