News, as a word, wasn't really the solution--the four cardinal directions are. Then you see that only one name doesn't fit the pattern, and it therefore is the only one that is not "hinged" (a.k.a. "pivotal"--or "cardinal").

Seriously, I was originally intending on basing the members on each of us, but I thought that might make it too gimmicky.
