In regards to a sequel for Beetlejuice, I don't know if Keaton could save it. IMO Burton's best films did star Keaton, but I think he'd probably overkill the concept, as I watched Beetlejuice a couples weeks back. And I was surprised that Keaton is in the film for under 15 mins, but he had that much of an impression it felt longer. The humour and the timing was simply spot on, from both the director and actor. Really the story was all about Geena Davis and Alec Baldwins' characters, and Beetlejuice was an effective punchline every now and then. With what Burton's been dishing up in the last decade, you can't help but feel iffy, yet maybe a break from Depp would bring out a refreshing change in creativity. But I won't hold my breath.
