I realize that I am sole voice on this one BUT:
I hated it. Never knew who anyone was what with the look alike beards. Didn't care who was in danger because we were not introduced to anyone and had no back story about them. It was all gore and mayhem with no real dialogue. The one truly scary moment was a cheap jump scare. That and wondering what in heck was it with the dog at the very beginning.
I cannot understand the love fro this version of the story.
The Thing from Another World gave us characters, backstories, scary scenario, dialogue with actual words with more than four letters.
