After Tara was killed? I understood her. I at least wanted her to tear The Trio apart. I understand the desire for revenge. It's not something I would relish seeing in anyone I care about. It is self-destructive and toxic. Within the story, I would not say that it had a beneficial effect on Willow. For one thing, it turned her against her friends. Because they stood on her way. The FIRST thing she did as Dark Willow was to save Buffy's life. And Xander was right when he said that Warren was "just as evil as any Vampire you've (Buffy) have sent to dust-ville." Warren even tried to kill Dark Willow with an axe, he had to go. |
