"I like the death! I like the misery! I like this world!"
In a world full of chaos and violence and where only the toughest might stand a small chance of survival, mankinds last hope for a better world lies within a female cyborg who might just carry along the cure against a deadly disease. And that means big trouble, as she has now become the target for some of the meanest and most sadistic hunters on the planet, and someone has to take on the job on trying to protect her, and that somebody is Gibson Rickenbacker (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
Considered by many as yet another late 80s action/b-movie vehicle for the upcoming action star that is Jean-Claude Van Damme, and compared to Bloodsport or Kickboxer it might not be as impressive, but I have always had a soft spot for this ridiculous western/martial-arts meets post-apocalyptic kind of a story, and that also ended up as a bit of a box-office/rental VHS success, having several "sequels" made after, and I must admit that I really like the second one, with a young Angela Jolie going up against Jack Palance.
This is all classic 80s Cannon pictures, cheesy and highly entertaining stuff.
The plot is all over the place, but you have one of the most hilarious final fights ever to witness, as the main villain who dresses up like Bennett from Commando (1985) with a chainmail-vest, and comes off with a similar look/appearance as that of the Scorpion King.
From what I understand, director Albert Puyn wanted the film to be shot without any or very little use of dialogue, which is not that hard to believe as a lot of time the "dialogue" consists of having two sweaty men, grunting very loud at eacher, for what feels like forever:
"RAAAAAAHHHHHH! ARHHH! OHHHHH! AHHH! JAAAAAAARHHH!!!!"

Another reason why I enjoy this film, is because of the beautiful Deborah Richter, and to my big surprise on the old IMDb board, several people wrote some rather nasty stuff about her, saying her looks was not much, and citing her breasts as ugly or plain, but for me, she helped made the film into a better or more enjoyable adventure than it probably ever should be.
I always get a good laugh every time when she almost throws herself and her stunning funbags in the face of Van Damme, and his answer is to put her clothes back on or something like that.
