You see, because you are a white man (I'm guessing, of course) it's okay for people to be a dick to you based on your skin color and gender. Why? Because other white men (who aren't you) treated some women and minorities very poorly. Nevermind the fact that it wasn't you who did it and everyone involved is of no relation or connection to you whatsoever. You simply share the same race and genitals, so you're allowed to be discriminated against. You are correct. I am a White man, and I've never treated anyone wrong because of their skin color, gender, nationality, sexuality, or anything else. The only thing I expect in return is to also be treated like a person. I can see now, according to people like PreachCaleb, asking to be treated as an individual is just asking too much. Mindsets like his or why I couldn't be a Democrat anymore. They take something good (equality in this case) and just go off the rails with it. I mean, look at his last comment. This is just ridiculous,, nobody actually said anything remotely like this: |
