Tristan, even you can see the difference between the murder of a parent or two moms having the same name. dude, let's cut through the BS, both scenes are cringefests of horrible writing. One cannot objectively quantify the bad writing, but IMO it is utter hypocrisy to bitch about the one and defend the other. Both get 3 cringe demerits from me:  No, only the Martha scene is badly written. Civil War is a solid film from start to finish. You just weren't paying attention, or your comprehensive skills are even worse than I given them credit for. If you're seriously unable to understand that Tony Stark was unstable right from the start of the film, then spent the whole time having only bad things happen to him finally culminating in him reaching the breaking point, then I don't know what to say. You have no understanding of the human psyche and never will, you sheltered little snowflake. |
