dude, let's cut through the BS, both scenes are cringefests of horrible writing. One cannot objectively quantify the bad writing, but IMO it is utter hypocrisy to bitch about the one and defend the other. Both get 3 cringe demerits from me: No, only the Martha scene is badly written. Civil War is a solid film from start to finish. You just weren't paying attention, or your comprehensive skills are even worse than I given them credit for. If you're seriously unable to understand that Tony Stark was unstable right from the start of the film, then spent the whole time having only bad things happen to him finally culminating in him reaching the breaking point, then I don't know what to say. You have no understanding of the human psyche and never will, you sheltered little snowflake. the raptor doth protest too much, methinks. But if you believe it, it's not a lie. Frankly, my amusement is manifold regarding your chronic identification with meltdown candidates and drama queens of all sorts, regardless of how badly they are written - story of your raptor life, eh? I bet you have a vicious little dog as a pet too, humping and biting the legs of everyone crossing its way. Still I must award three fanboy demerits for your unbalanced and unenlightened post.
