OT (maybe): December 1983

I never had a scrapbook, and even if I did this article would have seemed too trivial to save.  I remember reading it in the local paper back in '83.  Little did I realize that many years later it would be such a significant occupation of my time.



Gee, I wonder if anyone else had something that was of interest but seemingly little importance when it first made the newspapers, and later took on a much greater meaning.  Or am I the only one?
