Never said it had to top it. I'm hoping it's just as good. If Spider-Man: Homecoming isn't as good as Spider-Man 2, then Spider-Man: Homecoming is a huge disappointment. Because it'll mean that a non-MCU connected Spider-Man movie was better than a Spider-Man movie that's connected to the MCU. That would be a huge blow to MCU and a huge blow to MCU dictator Kevin Feige's massive ego. So you talk about someone else's supposedly massive ego? Lol.
