Doesn't matter who did it first or what. X-Men Dark Phoenix or Supernova or whatever its being called will be a better space opera than GotG - mainly because im confident there wont be dance offs or slapstick comedy appealing to kids. It'll be closer to Star Wars than anything else. No, Fox will botch it. The people in charge just can't handle genuinely comic-booky stuff.
And if you keep calling what happened at the end of GOTG a "Dance Off" then you weren't paying attention.
