I was just amused by the WW Oscar talk and thought it was kind of amusing that a month later an equally reviewed film comes out. So are they now both Oscar worthy? How does that work? At this point of the year with so many movies still to come out it's really difficult to make accurate Oscar nominations. It all depends on the fact if the movies can keep the momentum and Oscar buzz going until the end of the year. And I think we still have to wait a little bit until we have more reviews for Spider-Man and until we get the response from the general audience. I'm happy this is such a good year for superheroes (Logan, Guardians 2, Wonder Woman and now Spider-Man) and we still have Thor: Ragnarok & Justice League coming out. I know. I'm just making a mockery of the WW deserves an Oscar stuff. |
