...which is a huge compliment to both movies.
A blockbuster movie getting nominated for a Best Picture Oscar is a pretty huge deal whenever it does happen. A CBM getting nominated for that award would be an even bigger deal.
Eh. The Oscar's are pointless. They like the arthouse stuff, which can be good at times, but it usually ends up being pretentious bullshit.
Again, if I was nominated for an Oscar, I would be honored. As a fan, I find it pointless and completely rigged 99% of the time.
