He knows FX better than anyone except Verhoeven and Zemeckis are better storytellers with it. Cameron has a hokey moralizing quality that reminds me of Cecil B Demille.
Avatar had some mind blowing FX-like the flying creature free fall, but I have zero interest in re-watching it.
Well when you put it that way, now I'm interested in him doing a bible epic.
