There are so many things necessary for human beings to be alive: the right location in the right kind of galaxy orbiting at the right distance from the right type of star in a continuously stable orbit. Somehow all the required astrophysical and geological events did occur. Is it possible for them to have happened without a guiding force? Yes it is. The mistake here is in assuming that the planet is a great fit for the Humans, rather than that it's the Humans that are a great fit for the planet. Evolution explains exactly how this happens. It's no different from a puddle of water marvelling that the hole it is in is such a perfect fit for it! Wherever the puddle has a bulge, the hole has a matching dent - and vice versa! Surely this hole must have been carefully made to fit me!
