The Venom's predecessor, Vampire.

Venom was derived from the Vampire anyway, they look very similar.

I started to type Vampire, but the vertical stabilizers looked different than I remembered, so I guessed it was a Venom.

If you've never read "The Shepherd" by Frederic Forsyth, I recommend it. The pilot in the story flies a Vampire.
