It's interesting how American public schools and their "global studies" courses spend very little time on 21st century slavery. Maybe because it's mainly non-white countries that are still treating humanity like shit? Ya can't disrupt the PC narrative and make any non-white people look bad!

How much time did they spend on it in your recent high school tenure? I'm thinking Alex Jonestube/Trump U. don't qualify.

I don't feel guilty for anything. I feel sorry for people who feel guilt.

I am far removed from the days of high school and even then it was more about using an entire semester to shame America for slavery. Never mind that the USA was one of the earlier nations to abolish the practice. Very little was said about the Arab slave trade or Ottoman Empire's brutality. Hell, I had to use the internet to find out that Saudi Arabia didn't abolish slavery until the early-1960s A.D.
